雅思IELTS考試常考的十種場景

　　雅思IELTS�？嫉氖�種場景

　　1.租房場景

　　這種題型，以前看人也介紹過，并且很詳細(xì)，這里把他們總結(jié)在一起。

　　首先辨別是租房還是買房。For lease與for sale

　　房子的類型有：flat, apartment, dormitory(dorm), student hotel, youth hostel

　　一般房子有的家電或設(shè)施有：bedroom, kitchen, stove, fridge, microwave oven, washing machine, air-condition, electric fans, radiator, electric stoves

　　床上用品有：pillow, pillow case, bed linen, sheet, mattress, blanket, towel

　　房子位置：Road(Rd.), Street(St.), lane,

　　門廳的叫法：hall, lobby, porch

　　租房的規(guī)律為：離市中心越近，房價越高，位置稍偏，價錢會比較有吸引力;但便宜的房子一般

　　有不理想的地方：not near the center, not near the railway station, fall from the bus stop, near the airport, noisy, shared kitchen, insects, a stranger in the next bed, have no privacy, have to prepare some repellant ,insects haunting.

　　另外電話詢問看房子時：

　　Is it available now? when will it be available?.(audiy.com)

　　Is there a telephone? How far is it from…….? Is it furnished?

　　What is the rental price? How is it cooled /heated?

　　Furnished：意為配備家具。

　　2.課外研究場景.

　　主要是在課外研究一些小的項目，小的調(diào)查研究，包括對學(xué)校里各個地方，食品(咖啡，小吃)等的價格的比較，這些看似不屑一顧的東西，個人認(rèn)為，這也是與文化背景有關(guān)系的，外國人注重人的實(shí)踐能力，從小培訓(xùn)，聽說他們中學(xué)生就開始寫長篇的文章，看＜成長的煩惱＞中那個小男孩本，研究毛毛蟲，就可看出了：

　　這部分主要注意聽力，特別關(guān)注的是人名，并注意先判斷男女。

　　有關(guān)咖啡的一些類型：

　　instant coffee, real, Espresso(功夫咖啡，蒸餾咖啡), cappuccino, brewed coffee,

　　另外一些關(guān)于吃的：

　　fish and chips, value for money, greasy……………

　　3.圖書館場景.

　　據(jù)說這部分不是重點(diǎn)。

　　主要注意的是時間，BOOK名，作者，

　　一些單詞：

　　borrow, lend, renew, available, out on loan, newspaper, journal, periodical, current issues, reference books,category, catalog, date of expiry, be overdue, be due,

　　pay fines, loan, period circulation desk,

　　check out, reserve books, return in time, interlibrary service, can’t /mustn’t lend it to others.

　　Reserve books：指某一段時間比較搶手，熱門的書目，資料的租借時間縮短。如果很多同學(xué)想使用同一本參考書，圖書館就會reserve this book.

　　考點(diǎn)：作品名稱，哪年出版，作者姓名，student card, library card，借出費(fèi)用，幾時到期，欠款多少等。

　　4.地理場景

　　一般是司機(jī)，導(dǎo)游，BBC programme介紹某個地方，城市的基本情況。主要包括：

　　u名字，行政區(qū)劃

　　u人口，語言風(fēng)土人情

　　u好處，不利

　　u吸引人之處

　　distance from nearest city, population, advantage/disadvantage：注意轉(zhuǎn)折詞匯的運(yùn)用：however, nevertheless, on the other hand

　　education, main industry：

　　climate/weather： wet and windy, cold and wet, rainy, cloudy. Shape： rectangle

　　5.選課場景：

　　涉及選課主要是對語言的選擇：

　　Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, mandarin, standard Chinese, Cantonese, Spanish.

　　選擇級別：

　　fundamental/elementary

　　intermediate

　　advanced

　　選課的時間，日期。

　　申請人：applicant, enrolment

　　admission office

　　foreign student office, international student, oversea student

　　6.新生報到會：

　　新生報到會，一般向新生介紹學(xué)校的設(shè)施，選課情況，學(xué)校的歷史，如何注冊，應(yīng)該做什么，不應(yīng)該做什么。

　　一般由Admission office的Counselor來向新生介紹。

　　7.度假場景

　　度假地的選擇，交通工具的選擇，住處的選擇(這部分與租房類似)

　　付帳：check(美國)cheque(英)

　　Express way(高速公路)，express train(高速列車)

　　8.日程活動介紹場景

　　包括會議，節(jié)日，組織旅游等。

　　主要抓四類：when, where, what, why

　　convention(會議)

　　開場白經(jīng)常由會議的president或者organizer進(jìn)行自我介紹，然后介紹會議內(nèi)容，還要介紹會議的會期多長，經(jīng)�？嫉目键c(diǎn)---第幾次。

　　要避免經(jīng)典陷井，即聽力原文出現(xiàn)的并不是所需要的答案。

　　原：this is our third annual retailers’convention

　　Q：how many conventions have already been held?

　　A： 2

　　原：this is my second year on campus?

　　Q：how many years have you been studying at this college?

　　A： one year

　　另外�？嫉氖菚�議地點(diǎn)，一般是在國家的首都。

　　9.個人健康場景

　　headache, got a headache, avoid smoky, vitamins, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, diet, try to avoid sugar, salt, butter not too much milk lean meat, fish, nuts eggs need lots of bread, vegetables and fruit.
